Starke County, Indiana – Recently the Starke County Economic Development Foundation (SCEDF) applied for a Purdue IN-MaC micro-grant to assist with expenses for their annual Manufacturing Day events to be held on October 3-4, 2018 in Starke County.
The objective of the Purdue IN-MaC Micro-Grant Program is to provide financial support to businesses and organizations across Indiana who implement creative projects that enhance youth exposure and experiences to manufacturing in collaboration with Manufacturing Day initiatives. It is offered to organizations leading initiatives to raise awareness and promote career exploration for students across Indiana.
The micro-grants range from $500 - $2,000 and are designed to support innovation and encourage organizations to dedicate funds towards development and program implementation that impact manufacturing.
SCEDF is very grateful to be a recipient of a $2,000 micro-grant to assist with this year’s Manufacturing Day events.
