The Oregon-Davis School Corporation was recently awarded a $47,000 Digital Learning Community Advisory Grant from the Indiana Department of Education. The District was one of 52 school districts in Indiana to receive a total of $2.5M, with grants ranging in size from $19,000 - $56,000.
For 2020, grants were awarded to districts focused on building digital initiatives around the purposeful and strategic integration of technology into instruction. The grants center around connecting academic concepts to real-life applications, both in the classroom and abroad. By doing so, schools can maximize relevancy and engagement, thus transforming K-12 education for students.
