The Knox School Corporation has appointed a new Community Task Force to work with the school's architects in identifying the future building needs of the School Corporation. The first meeting of the Task Force was held last week and at that time, members were asked to identify 5 good things about the school corporation as well as 5 bad things and a discussion then ensued on many of those thoughts.

Lead Architect Tom Neff of Schmidt Associates of Indianapolis explained the job of the Task Force and went over the schedule of meetings, all of which will lead towards specific recommendations to the School Board on what the Task Force thinks are priority matters for the future.  Neff also introduced the members present to a blog that has been set up for  with the whole purpose being to collect input into what the community is thinking.  The blog will let the whole community see what is being discussed and where community members may post questions and comments as the work moves forward.  Neff pointed out that anyone who posts any comments will be anonymous.

The blog can be reached at  http://knoxschoolsmp.blogspot.com/
