Indiana Unemployment Rate Continues to Drop

The 3.3% unemployment rate reported for Indiana for the month of August keeps the state at the lowest rate in comparison to the four contiguous states of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Kentucky.  The rate dropped from the reported rate for July by 0.1% even though there was a drop in the labor force of just over 2000 people. The other states reported 4.1% in Ohio, 4.0% in Illinois. 4.2% in Michigan, and 4.4% in Kentucky.
