Indiana and County Unemployment Rates Inch Up in November

The Indiana unemployment rate rose slightly in November going from 3.5% in October up to 3.6% in November.  An additional 3100 jobs in the manufacturing sector were also reported for the month.  The contiguous states of Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois all remained at the same level for November as reported fro October, with all of those states being higher than Indiana.  As previously reported, there was no change in the national unemployment rate, as it remained at 3.7% for the month.

Starke County also saw its rate rise by 0.1%, going from 4.1% to 4.2% in November.
