Indiana Unemployment Rate Remains at 3.6% for May

Indiana Unemployment Rate Remains at 3.6% for May

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics today issued its report for all states unemployment rate for May.  Indiana checked in at 3.6% which is the third month in a row for that rate.  There was a drop in the labor force for the month of 10,677 persons, but an increase of 900 jobs in the manufacturing sector.  Indiana continues to lead its neighboring states as Kentucky is at 4.0%, Ohio is 4.1%, Michigan is 4.2%, and Illinois is at 4.4%.
